A HUGE thank you to all the brave souls who ventured out in today’s drizzle to help round up what felt like every tree guard in the parish.
You came, you squelched, you conquered.
You battled mud, mystery puddles, and the eternal question: “How are there STILL more tree guards?”
Special shout-out to the volunteers who escaped before the group photo — don’t worry, we know who you are, and your heroism (and damp socks) are not forgotten.
From stuffing trucks to filling bins to wrestling blue bags that definitely had a mind of their own, you were absolute legends. The Parish Council salutes you! 🙌
🌿 Thank you for proving that even on a gloomy day, our community can still shine… slightly soggily, but shine nonetheless.
