Parish Council Meeting – 22nd April 2026
The Parish Council Meeting will follow the Annual Parish Meeting, starting at approximately 7.45 pm. it will also be held in the Strike School Burston
AGENDA
- To consider any apologies
- To update Councillors Declarations of Interest and receive any declaration regarding agenda items
- Public participation, County and District Councillors reports.
- To discuss: a member of village action group will give a brief description of the groups application to list an Asset of Community Benefit in the village.
- To approve the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 25th March 2026
- To report Matters Arising from the Minutes not on the agenda – for information only
- To note correspondence as listed on the attached schedule and which are not separate agenda items
- Finance: Papers to be distributed prior to the meeting where possible
- To approve the attached report of payments and receipts since the previous meeting
- To approve the monthly statement of accounts for March 2026
- To approve the final Quarterly Bank reconciliation for financial year 2025/2026
- To approve papers relating to the Annual Audit for 2025/2026 – Section 1 the Annual Governance Statement.
- To approve section 2 the Accounting Statements for 2025/2026
- To note internal auditor has been approved and the auditor has accepted the role.
- To review and agree the Asset register
- Planning Applications as received from South Norfolk Council for consultation
- To receive any planning applications since the last Parish council meeting.
- Highways Update
- PRoW and BOAT Update
- Recreation Ground Report:
- Report from the Spring Litter Pick.
- Report from Resilience survey
- To confirm the date and place for the next meeting and items for inclusion on the agenda.
